Add the diced onions and saute until they begin to soften. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat-you can do this over a camping stove or the campfire. These times can definitely vary based on the size of your squash, wether you wrap it in foil, and situational variables like outside temperature and your campfire. Roast for 30-45 minutes, then flip the squash so the cut side is facing down, and roast for an additional 15 minutes or until the squash is tender. Place the squash on the grill, cut side up, over medium heat. Wrap in heavy-duty aluminum foil (optional, but recommended if cooking over a wood fire). Rub the cut sides of each squash half with a teaspoon of olive oil and season with salt. Scoop the seeds and stringy pulp out of the center with a spoon and discard. Using a large knife, cut the squash in half pole-to-pole. For more information on preparing a fire for cooking, check out our Campfire 101 article. Make sure to prepare your fire well-enough in advance to allow the larger pieces of wood to burn down to usable embers. ![]() You can make this recipe on a propane grill or over a campfire. Here’s an overview of the recipe with tips & tricks and step by step photos! The full recipe with measurements and a printable recipe card can be found at the bottom of the post. If you’re cooking over a camp stove, any skillet will work! How To Make Grilled Stuffed Squash Skillet: If you’re going to prepare the stuffing over the campfire, it’s best to use a cast iron skillet. Long handled tongs: A pair of long-handled tongs is the best way to safely reposition or flip the squash over the campfire grill. Try not to skip these! EquipmentĪluminum foil: Optional, but wrapping the squash halves in foil can help them cook faster, prevents the campfire smoke from discoloring the squash, and saves the squash from charred skin which can flake off onto your plate and into your food. Pecans & cranberries: Pecans add some texture and cranberries add a nice pop of sweet-tart flavor. Feel free to make and use your own if you’d prefer!Ĭelery & onion: These aromatics really bring boxed stuffing to the next level. Stuffing: To make things easy, we use boxed stuffing and add some extras in (see below). Ground turkey or sausage: Either will work-sausage will carry more flavor, but ground turkey is easy to work with too! Just be sure to add salt and pepper to it. This recipe has all the flavors that conjure up memories of a big family Thanksgiving, but it doesn’t involve nearly as many dishes (and you don’t need to invite a dozen of your relatives over to help finish it all!) IngredientsĪcorn squash: We love the flavor that acorn squash brings to this meal, but you can substitute it with other squash such as delicata or a small kabocha. Some years we’ve endeavored to cook quite a feast (including the time we cooked a whole bird in a Dutch oven), but this year we’re keeping things simple with this Grilled Stuffed Acorn Squash. One of our favorite traditions is our annual “Campsgiving” Trip-essentially an autumn camping trip where we just hang out around the campfire and cook a lot of great food together! This post was written in partnership with Eddie Bauer Brush again with any remaining marinade and sprinkle with Sel Marin de Guerande Grey Sea Salt just before serving.Combining all the classic Thanksgiving flavors into an edible bowl, this grilled Stuffed Acorn Squash is the perfect camping meal for Thanksgiving. Cook until both sides are golden brown and squash feels firm but cooked when inserted with knife. When slices begin to brown, turn over and brush reserved marinade on cooked sides. Place squash slices on the grill use a grill pan if desired. To finish, heat a well-oiled grill to medium. Pour marinade and squash into a large bowl, toss again, cover and place in refrigerator for at least an hour, gently tossing mixture every 20 min. Toss squash and marinade gently with a rubber spatula. Pour 2/3 of the marinade over the squash, reserving remaining 1/3 of the mixture. Drain water from pan and place steamed squash pieces in the pan. Meanwhile, prepare marinade by whisking together all remaining ingredients except the sea salt. Place slices in a steamer basket and steam, covered, over high heat for 5 to 10 min. Scoop out seeds and cut squash crosswise into 1-inch slices. ![]() Cut off both ends of the squash then rest it on a flat end and cut in half lengthwise. ![]() The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is a great collection of games and the only way a lot of players can even access these titles. Just raw versions of each game remastered and running smooth. Each game is installed separately and has their own set of Trophies/Achievements, but they are bare bones. Sadly, that is about all there is with this collection. It looks and plays so sublime even to this day. I was instantly taken back as I made my way through the opening level of the first title. For example, they are all remastered and cleaned up, looking excellent running in 4K and at 60fps if you have one of the new consoles, or the mid-gen refreshes of last gen. Still, it is impossible to cobble together the perfect collection of these games, and this Master Collections is about as close as we are likely to ever get.īringing these games into a new generation does come with benefits though. The game is ripe with new features, but lacks that smooth game play the first two were famous for. It was developed by an Itagaki-less Team Ninja alongside a bunch of his team. The third game has always been mediocre at best. Basically, it means you can’t die, and for older and less skilled players, it is a must. So, these versions contain the easy mode which enables auto blocking when player health is low. I finished it, and I am not embarrassed to say that all these years later, there is no way I could do that again. The first title was one of my proudest gaming accomplishments back in the day. ![]() Platforms: XB1 (reviewed), PS4, Switch, PC It did however add the Hero mode, which made the games easier for novice players. The Sigma versions of the games remove costumes, cut scenes, and even unlockable versions of classic games. Now, as a fan of the original game this is troublesome for a few reasons. Instead of reverse engineering the first two games, the team instead decided to use the Sigma code. The original code was unsalvageable according to Team Ninja. This collection is based on the Sigma versions of Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2. Let’s start with the elephant in the room. While I love the Ninja Gaiden resurrection, this collection brings good with bad and a few quirks that keep it from being definitive. It has been remastered and re-released so many times over the years and now we finally get the entire collection in one neat package so players can experience these amazing games (well two amazing games and one mediocre attempt) in full remastered glory. The game was a sublime action title that set the bar to this day for character action games. The resurrection of Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox is one of my fondest memories of that console. ![]() Often it is impossible to rearrange the tangerine from place to place - there is a high probability of stress. Draft is destructive for him, so the place is chosen taking into account the possibility of careful ventilation. With a short daylight hours, the plant needs additional lighting. The best place for a homemade tangerine is a windowsill on the south or west side of the house. It grows all year round, but needs hibernation for fruiting. It is picky about moisture, but dies when over-watered. Mandarin loves the sun, but cannot stand too high a temperature. To create ideal conditions for a plant is half of success. It is better to grow very undersized varieties on the windowsill, for example, Pioneer. The tangerine will need space and a large pot. The choice of a variety depends on what conditions will be created for the full development of the plant.Īttention! You should not buy tall specimens for a small room. ![]()

Use of aspirin, age >= 65 years & presence of Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) were stronger predictors of Modified Gensini score. Multiple linear regressions, Student's t-test and Pearson's coefficient 'r' were also used. Correlation with Modified Gensini score and percentage stenosis in culprit artery was done.ĭata were summarized in the form of Mean, Standard Deviation and Proportions. All patients underwent coronary angiography. One hundred and sixty patients with acute unstable angina were evaluated for presence of 9 clinical predictors and their 3 risk scores were calculated. This was a hospital based single centre, cross-sectional, observational, descriptive study conducted at a tertiary care teaching institute. To know the correlation of clinical risk scores with angiographic extent of coronary artery disease. JAMA.The correlation of clinical risk predictors and clinical risk scores: Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI), Platelet Glycoprotein IIb-IIIa in Unstable Angina, Receptor Suppression Using Integrilin Therapy (PURSUIT) and Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events (GRACE) scores in Unstable Angina with angiographic extent of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is not known. In patients with UA/NSTEMI, the TIMI risk score is a simple prognostication scheme that categorizes a patient's risk of death and ischemic events and provides a basis for therapeutic decision making. The slope of the increase in event rates with increasing numbers of risk factors was significantly lower in the enoxaparin groups in both TIMI 11B (P =.01) and ESSENCE (P =.03) and there was a significant interaction between TIMI risk score and treatment (P =. The pattern of increasing event rates with increasing TIMI risk score was confirmed in all 3 validation groups (P<.001). Event rates increased significantly as the TIMI risk score increased in the test cohort in TIMI 11B: 4.7% for a score of 0/1 8.3% for 2 13. The 7 TIMI risk score predictor variables were age 65 years or older, at least 3 risk factors for coronary artery disease, prior coronary stenosis of 50% or more, ST-segment deviation on electrocardiogram at presentation, at least 2 anginal events in prior 24 hours, use of aspirin in prior 7 days, and elevated serum cardiac markers. Outcomes were TIMI risk score for developing at least 1 component of the primary end point (all-cause mortality, new or recurrent MI, or severe recurrent ischemia requiring urgent revascularization) through 14 days after randomization. ![]() Relative differences in response to therapeutic interventions were determined by comparing the slopes of the rates of events with increasing score in treatment groups and by testing for an interaction between risk score and treatment. The TIMI risk score was derived in the test cohort by selection of independent prognostic variables using multivariate logistic regression, assignment of value of 1 when a factor was present and 0 when it was absent, and summing the number of factors present to categorize patients into risk strata. The 3 validation cohorts were the unfractionated heparin group from ESSENCE and both enoxaparin groups. A total of 1957 patients with UA/NSTEMI were assigned to receive unfractionated heparin (test cohort) and 1953 to receive enoxaparin in TIMI 11B 15 were assigned respectively in ESSENCE. Two phase 3, international, randomized, double-blind trials (the Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction 11B trial and the Efficacy and Safety of Subcutaneous Enoxaparin in Unstable Angina and Non-Q-Wave MI trial ). To develop a simple risk score that has broad applicability, is easily calculated at patient presentation, does not require a computer, and identifies patients with different responses to treatments for UA/NSTEMI.
